American High Fidelity AHF Adagio Speaker

So here is my other Gsale score of the day, they are a small speaker and remind me of the BBC monitors ala rogers/chapman. Great build quality, dig really low on the bass and sound quite good.

They have polydax drivers, can't read, no glasses, the names on the crossover too well.

Any info on the company or speaker? Google gives zilch.

I think you were asking because in the picture with the baffle attached the particle board or mdf is seen near the driver due to it being rear mounted to the baffle. It kind of makes it look like the woofer has foam surround that is deteriorated.

I never saw a set but given the drivers and good quality build they should sound pretty nice.

It has some sort of a cork ring between the baffle and the speaker part of the speaker from what I can tell. The sound nice though, but a little over shadowed by the tannoys I bought from the same guy.

So when I saw them I thought they were Harbeth LS3/5A. I tried linking to a nice ebay post full of pics but my post keeps disappearing.

I'm actually parting ways with a set of KEFS tomorrow which have the KEF B110 too.

Gotcha, oh well, they certainly make for nice gathered information sites but alas the ability to abuse is always at hand. Forums are so old fashion, but that's another topic altogether.

the tweeter looks A LOT like the Polydax driver used in the Vandersteen 2Cs I am working on.

Can you post the model info stamped on the back, or a picture of the back of the tweeter?
