Ammo prices are REALLY getting crazy....

Neighbor still goes plinking on his private range here regularly ... I expect it helps that he's a millionaire ... ;-}

^^^ Wouldnt be the first time....I seem to recall a big spike in sales after Obama election...I think Public Enemy had an album relating to that particular uptick in gun sales...Merica

Second the recommendation of shooting pellet guns with ammo prices and scarcity being what they are. Good way to keep your shooting skills sharp. A nice German break barrel will make you better shot. You need a good artillery hold and trigger follow through to shoot good groups. Get good with one and you can shoot any rifle more accurately.

A very good and insightful American friend once said that if the Russians ever did show up they would get no more than 5 miles because all the troops would have peeled off into the nearest Chevy dealership , Rayleys, Walmart or whatever.
I'm in Scotland BTW.

Did I not hear that Walmart a few years ago were doing a silly price on 22LR like about 10c a bang. ?

Before prices skyrocketed I bought 200 rounds of 8mm (similar in ballistics to 30-06) for $131 shipped.

Clean it well, it may be corrosive.

I still shoot my K98k, K31, and Mosin-Nagant. At least when my shoulder is up to it.
