That's why I am here and looking for help. So far I've understood that more wattage than needed/rated is not bad and these specific speakers like more power.Well it's all wrong.

Here let me help.
The speaker is 85db at 2.83v that's 1 watt at 8ohms or 2 watts 4ohms. This bugger is rated at 6ohms but will likely vary so let's take the worst case 4ohm scenario. This means at 1 meter with 2 watts you get 85db. This is pretty loud actually.
Say you sit 6 feet away. Knock off 6 db now you are at 79db at 2 watts. Now say you want it louder, each 3db will need 2X the watts. So, 82db = 4 watts , 85 = 8, 88 = 16, 91 = 32.
91db is loud but here is the demarcation point, that next 10db (twice as loud as 91db) will cost you a lot of watts. You'll need 256 to hit 100. You don't want to listen to music for any length of time at 100db. If you do, you will damage your hearing.
It all depends upon how loud you listen to, how far away you are, and how sensitive the speaker is. If you really want to rock it go for more sensitive speakers.

So, I've taken some powered speaker options, which all fall in reasonable price range.
1) Audioengine A5+
These were the first to stand out. Reviews said they were capable of very loud sound. They also have RCA out for additional subwoofer. On top of all, the internal amplifier is A/B amp, meaning the distortion is low even at high volumes.
2) JBL LSR305
These seem like pro-grade speakers, yet a pair is only 200 bucks. The amp is D class. If they are really as good as they look/are branded, the lsr308 might even come as an option.
3) Yamaha HS5
Now these are quite pricy, two of those make up the price of lsr308 speaker set. Don't really know what to think of them. Amazon reviews are good.
4) KRK Rokit 5
Don't know much about these speakers, but they are in my price range, have A/B amp and seem to be popular.
What do You guys think, which of those seem to be more reasonable or better sounding and how do they compare to Pioneers?
Are there any other options to look out for?

I’ve owned both the Pioneers and the KRK powered speakers. The Pioneers were infinitely better IMO. They’re a nice two way but they do sound better with a good amount of power behind them. Any solid state amp of 50 watts and up will do fine. Pick up a used Dragonfly USB dac and you’re all set. Don’t be fooled by the size of the little Dragonfly; it’s very impressive

In the end I setlled for JBL LSR305. Searching deeper they were strongly recommended in comparisons against KRKs and Audioengines. Yamahas I sorted out quite early, because they seem overpriced and not very live sounding to me.(based on test videos)
I must agree, biamplification does sound good.
I do have some questions about setting them up tho. Let's say I buy Behringer UC204HD, that is my plan if I find no better.
The JBLs have balanced audio inputs XLR and TRS, which do not differ other than the fact that XLR clips in to place. (am I right or was there something with grounding too?)
Does running direct TRS cable from DAC to speaker have the same balanced signal as running a TRS to XLR cord?
Last but not least(heh, will not be last), TRS 1/4 inch cable is sometimes refered as 6.3mm and sometimes as 6mm. Are they the same thing?
Does every 6.3mm audio wire I find in the shop suit for balanced connection?
Am I obligated to download DAW to fully utilize the DAC? (meaning to control which output is used?
How to I control which output of two(headphones, spekers) is used? Through windows? Or will they both play at the same time?
I'll be searching for DAC with dual output and budget headphone amp. Maybe I can find a separate solution.(then again, it is better to have the DAC output to be balanced connection)
EDIT: I read somewhere that if balanced connection works only if all the connections in system are balanced. Does it mean that DAC->RCA to PREAMP-> XLR to SPEAKERS would not work/be not balanced?
