Amp for Polk SDA SRS 2s

I'm presently driving them with a healthy Yamaha PC2002M and using a Parasound P5 for a preamp. It sounds good but t seems to be a bit hard or strident sounding. These Polks are modded and dip below 4 ohms. Sources include a Rotel CD using the P5's DAC, digital files on a Mac with USB connection. I also have a Yamaha PX-2 TT, that I don't have hooked up presently. I was thinking a Parasound A21 or 23. Do you guys think that they would add a degree of vocal smoothness and musicality to the system ?

I have always had good luck with MOSFET amps with my SDA SRS 2s. If you haven't done so already I would recommend replacing the caps in the crossover then swapping out the tweeters for the newer tweeters Polk offers. I bought mine already done but I have heard many Polks with the older the tweeters and the new tweeters are far superior. After that I think you will find your current amp and pre combo pairs nicely with your Polks.

I had the SDA-SRS 2.3s Signature speakers and was driving them with a Soundcraftsmen A5002 amp. That amp put out about 250 watts RMS per channel and took the Polks to that next level. I would have loved to have heard them with one of Frank's big amps, like the 600R, but I no longer have the speakers.
