Amp is blowing fuses

A PTC thermistor can reduce the need for those slow-blow fuses, but without one there is a heck of an inrush on the transformer. If you have an analog ammeter to hook up on the power cord, have a gander at the dance the needle does when you hit the switch. I have a clamp-on that will do 6 amps on the lowest scale and I've seen that thing bounce off the end before with amplifiers that run at about an amp of current under normal conditions.

I put the new fuse in yesterday evening. So far so good. I have a new set of KT88 in so I'll check the bias again today. Hopefully no more blown fuses.
