Amp output / Speaker Wire Adaptors...

Simple problem...my pioneer SA-9500II Amp has the push in or banana plug style outputs. My Museatex speaker wires have spade style ends that will not work with the banana plug style outputs of my amp. I can't simple replace the ends on my cables as they are pretty fancy wires where each strand is individually coated inside the main loom, and looks like it was painstakingly assembled with the spade connections. My speakers have the correct spade style input connections. So, Question: is there an adapter made for this situation? I can post pics to help clarify my problem if needed. Thanks!

edit: basically need the opposite of this:

Does the Pioneer amp even have banana jacks? The photos I've looked at don't show banana jacks on the speaker outputs.

I think you need spade to pin adapters...not spade to banana adapters. Or, get some different cables. I'd be leery of any type of heavy cable and adapters hanging off those connections on the amp.

You are right, at quick glance it looked like banana jacks would work, but they are slightly too big.

So I need pin to spade adapters. I really want to try these wires out if I can. I believe they were over $500 for the set! I got them at the flea market for 10 bux (brand new in the bag no less), and want to see if I can hear any difference between these and standard wires.

You could re-terminate them with pin connectors....
Watch those metal pin connectors though - too easy to short.
I use shrink tube on them to insulate them from one another

these state you can plug the banana in the end.

link wont work.

audiogear.com part # SPKCN45

hopefully that will work.
