Amp recommendations for KEF Cantatas?

When I bought my KEF Cantatas the seller kindly gave me a Technics SU-V460 (15wpc into 8Ω) amp to get me up and running. Any recommendations for an upgrade? I'm probably looking to spend no more than £500 but could potentially stretch the budget. Not opposed to something modern but seeing as I also have a Thorens TD 125 MK II, something vintage would be more in keeping. So many options out there and I'm no expert!

I guess I've got the itch to upgrade what feels like the most entry level part of my set up. Upgrading the amplifier may be marginally significant to the sound quality however I was curious to hear if anyone had any opinions. The only sources are the thorens turntable and an aux

I'd recommend the Yamaha A-S501. Solid amp for the money.

Any amp will do...they all sound the same.

Just make sure to choose one capable of producing enough power to drive your speakers loud enough to meet your needs.
