Hello,
I'm pretty new to tinkering with audio setups. My father gave me his old speakers, but the amp (Sony FH-909R) is not working. I want to buy a new budget amp for the speakers to get them running first. Does anyone have any suggetions for what I could use?
One poster here (http://audiokarma.org/forums/index....-different-and-semi-rare-sony-apm-909.371985/) said they were using a Realistic STA-2600, but I am hoping to buy something more off-the-shelf since it's a bit hard to find more exotic hardware in India.
I'm not too sure about the specifications of the speaker itself. All it seems to say on the back is 'Impedance: 6 Ω'.
