Ampex tube tuner preamp manual needed

Or if anyone here knows how to make AM/FM work is really appreciated.

Hello everyone,

I have a tube tuner preamp made by Ampex. I could make tape/phone work fine but do not know how to make sound with FM or AM. I think there are many Ampex experts in this forum so turn to you for help.

The unit has built-in tuner and a separate MPX unit.

It looks like you turn the tuner/pre section on, select AM or FM with the buttons, then tune the station you want. If that doesn't work, you need to check the tubes and other components.

You'll need three RCA cables to hook up the MPX decoder - one from the tuner to the decoder, and two back.
