Amplifier for B&O Beovox S60

Hi all, I would like to know if some can recommend some amp for My Beovox S60, I was looking a grundig sv50 + st50 or a beomaster 2400-2. for wich one I should go, or an other one to recommend to me.

You may get a bunch of,differing opinions on this. Trust your ears and buy what sounds best to you (as well as fits into your budget!) Good luck!

This is excellent advice. It's been a few years since I last did any critical listening with my S60s, but I recall that they were slightly on the analytical side of neutral. A solid-state amp with a bright or hard treble would not be a good choice. The speakers would sound better with a more laid-back amp, either tube or solid-state.

I have a pair of S75s and they sounded good with a either an ST-70 or a 2A3 SET amp.

My S60 sound nice with my Beomaster 3000, I would like to recommend one of the smaller Beomasters of the early or mid seventies. Wonderful sound.

Your user name reminded me of a receiver that sounded great with my S60s -- a Harman-Kardon 330c. One of my sons used that combination in a bedroom system, with an old Magnavox CD player as a digital music source, and loved it.
