Speakers: Bose 301 Series III Direct Reflecting Passive

Want something under $300.
Want Bluetooth.
I've read that a solid state amp won't diminish the Budgie Tube distortion, so I'm good with a solid state..i think.

Not sure what’s needed to add Bluetooth, but I’d give that HTR-5940 a chance first. I have a lower model from that same era (-5830), and the sound in stereo is far better than I would have expected.
 
Im not a big fan of having BT integrated into an amp. Reason being
like wifi cards, they can fail over time and standard keeps getting updated
every couple of years (version 1 2 3 ....).

Theres lots of fine BT set top devices that can be wired into any device with
line level inputs.

Lots of folks seem to be happy with the modern offerings from Yamaha and
Marantz. Or even units that might be a few years old.

Your speakers dont need a pile of power Im guessing anything with solid 60+
watts will do you fine?
