looks bit like the VSCA event held here in Vancouver WA. except that stuff was more finished off and the event was held in a Hilton Hotel. Looks like the one on that web site was a little more fun.

Doesn't look like it's as much fun as the Van Isle DIY Fest up on the Mountain outside of Victoria,BC.

Tents, sleeping bags, beer and gear, it's all there with BBQ Salmon (caught in the morning), Elk Burgers, Kabobs, salads and more beer. Some of the wildest gear around and sometimes it's actually built at the meet! I think it took about 45 minutes, from beginning to end, to put together a turntable from random spare parts, mount a tonearm, cartridge, align it and have it playing! Dozens of speakers (many of them horns), one-off amps, preamps, dacs, homemade turntables & CD players, modified tuners and it just keeps going far into the night. Usually there's two or three systems running at any given time, so there's always something to check out.
I might add that the Canucks are some of the nicest guys to spend time with and I have always had a great time!
