Started off making a purchase from Analog Addict (Heathkit tube preamp), which turned into a partial horse-trade for some tweeters I had.
Was able to readily work out a completely fair and good deal with him... and he shipped fast as lightning. His packing was exactly what I expected, for good safety, too... double boxed, with the tubes separately padded and isolated.
My shipping was a little delayed (we decided to do the tweeter trade, AFTER he had shipped the preamp, so I had to pack that before sending him his remaining money and his tweeters)... but I hope he's as happy with what he gets, as I am with what I now have. Now time to make that Heathkit preamp better than new (and oh yeah, there WILL be a thread up in Tube Audio for it when I do it! :thmbsp: )...
