Analog source selector/audio switcher

Hello guys!

The vintage amps keeps pilling up on my desk and I've got tired of switching cables around...

That's why I started to research for analog source selectors/audio switchers. I don't want a mixer - i only want to switch in between 1 source/1 destination of a time.

A quick list of requirements:
- at least one RCA input source (that's usually a cable coming from my sound card) but more will be even nicer (for switching the input to my CD player for example)
- switcher must support stereo RCA input/output
- as much RCA output sources as possible (at least 4x2RCA)
- as little interference as possible - i'm not interested in altering the signal/volume or anything else - just plain switching
- i will prefer something as analog/simple/manual as possible (i don't like smart new tech)
- best buy (not very expensive but neither the cheapest one)

Does anybody knows any good product that fits my list?

Thank's!

This should do the trick...

Thank you tcdriver! I saw that before but i was a little bit concerned by reading various comments about like "Will add slight signal degradation. Soldering on the internal boards were poor."
Have you ever used this product with hi-fi audio? If yes, did you noticed any signal degradation?

For example until now on the top of my list is this product:
https://www.audiophonics.fr/en/source-selectors/source-selector-rca-4-to-1-reversible-p-13228.html
just because most comments focus on the fact that there is no sound alteration and because they put an inside photo that shows the wiring which i believe is ok compared to others cheap switchers i saw.

But i still hope to find a better/bigger one...

I have not used the selector that I linked. It is designed to switch both audio and video. I have used similar type switchers for audio switching. I would be more concerned if I was using it to switch video where the bandwidth is much greater. At a cost of $23, it seems to me that it would be worth a try. The only best solution is to not use a switcher at all.

You right about trying myself. :trebon:

I will add that living in east far side of EU those 23$ come with another 20$ or more delivery fee and long delivery time (more than 2 weeks is something usual). Many accesories on amazon are cheaper than delivery fees for us  That's why i'm trying my best to avoid buying the wrong product and returning it which is another month spend for nothing. For us amazon is the place you use it... as the last resort. I hope now this thread makes more sense to you... it's more about avoiding wasting a lot of time.

This thread somehow helped me to make order in my mind pro/cons so... I believe i will go with the french product since they are much closer to me and faster delivered. You can close this thread....
