And then there were 2

Tony; Yes I see you like the Mc-mono route to. Damn this Mcbug sometimes lol. It's funny I did not care for my single 2255 paired with the grands. It just didn't seem to be a good pairing for whatever reason. But the 2100's at roughly the same wattage seem to be a great match with them. Enough so that I don't need the MQ101 in the rotten little basement room that I have them in.

So is this a strapped or bridged connection? The pic needs the grands included.

I'm guessing this is strapped since I had to use a "jumper wire" ? This is how the original owners manual shows how do it. My wiring job was hasty and somewhat crude but it works. And yes I got a pic of one the grands in there as well. They are waaayy too big for the crappy little basement room they're forced to occupy. The grands also just might be getting put on the back burner after tomorrow to. More on that tomorrow if I do come home with the new pair of speakers I've tentatively struck a deal on this afternoon:crazy:.

Can't bridge the early Mc amps, only strap.

Operators are standing by on proper speaker cables sir ...

Tony you're the best:thumbsup:. Problem with the Grands is their original binding screws are really close together. No big spades or cables without changing things to better posts first.

I just may take you up on that offer. I've been meaning to take the backs off, do a recap and put on some decent binding posts. Nothing but pure laziness now keeping me from doing just that

Just finished a little remodeling project for my newest Mcmono's. Also sold the Concert Grands and now the 2100's are running a new to me pair of Magnaspheres. This is the best sounding combination I've heard in this room by far.
