Took me long enough, but I've post-whored my way to 5000 posts. I'd like to think I've come a long way since I first joined AK. I was that guy who came in and asked a value question for my first post. I asked all those horse-beaten questions. :D But with the help of all the gracious folks here, I've learned a few things along the way. Maybe just enough to be dangerous!

AK has always been pretty special to me, since I joined just a couple months before I left for Air Force BMT. The support and encouragement I received in my leaving for BMT thread really meant quite a bit to me. I've made some friends on line, and met some at the Fest. There's some people here that I trust for important advice. I can't say that for any other forum, and I think that speaks to the quality of the people here. Thanks AK!

Young PWers, spiteful old PWers... there isn't a whole lot of difference, beyond a whole lot more PWing! Older PWers lost posts, too. When AK moved to a new server, for example, some people lost dozens of posts. It all washes out in the end.

CONGRATULATIONS on the 5K milestone. Keep 'em comin', Jailtime!

:scratch2: Say, I'm just curious about your AK name; are you doing time in jail, and making all those posts from there? Or is there some story behind the name?
