Does your channel drop out occur on any input or only one?
Good question.
SW503 is the tone control enable /by-pass switch. Notorious for being filthy tarnished.Oh...I only get the dropout with the tone control engaged

Clean the switch. There are 4 sliders within the switch. One of them is most likely not making very good contact.my drop out only occurs in the right channel....unless I have my headphones on backwards.....then its the left channel !
View attachment 1299903 SW402 (black X) would be the prime suspect.
Will need to be disassembled to properly clean.
de-soldered from board?
aye aye aye! de-soldered from board? Or can the top be popped?
I'd hate to wreck something in there.
Any progress?
Working as it should?got it back....cant say much more
Did it go back to dropping out?worked good for a couple of hrs
Either you still have a dirty switch/relay contact or poor solder connection.yep.....a little playing with the front switches gets it working ( so far )
