Only $40 OBO... anyone know if it has any valuable tubes or worthwhile speakers? If so, I'll go look at it. I can't tell what it is brand-wise, but I'm guessing the age is early 50's?

I am no expert. If I had to guess, I'd say yes, it has tubes in it. It also is stereo, clearly, and if I had to guess on brand, I'd guess Curtis Mathes. Has to be late 50s or later because it is stereo (no stereo at the consumer level before '55 at the earliest). Because the pre and tuner section appear to be one, you may find that there is no separate (and therefore relatively easy to remove and repurpose) amplifier lurking behind. It may be an all-in-one sort of thing. Might not be too useful to the stripper and flipper sort, except for the tubes (and those would be iffy) and transformers. Good luck!

Thanks... I'd be looking at stripping, so a separate amp would be a big plus!

I'm not saying it doesn't have one; take my words with a grain of salt. But it kind of has that 'all in one' look to me. I may be way wrong. Might at least be worth a peek under the hood.
