Another one of my homemade mics, this one is my most elaborate.The element is a headphone speaker going to a passive EQ to get the bass up and that's going to a computer speaker amp to boost the output and act as a buffer.The response is good except for that bump from 2k to 3k, which gives it a forward sound but that can easily be EQed out.The whole thing is powered from 4 C batteries.Although built for fun I do like the sound and have used it in some of my recordings,.One minor point is during transients the springs ring a little so I have to dampen them out.

Wow that's fantastic,now I wanna try a couple next year,a schematic would be great.
