Another Kenwood integrated joins the family

I've recently acquired a Kenwood KA-4002 integrated amplifier. It required some minor repairs and is now undergoing a burn-in session. If it survives the burn-in (everything sounds good so far) I'll clean it up and post pictures. Right now it's Patty Griffin's "One Big Love" over the Dynaco A25s.

I really like these vintage integrated amps. Not only are they easy to troubleshoot and repair but they sound quite wonderful.

The 4002 survived the burn-in quite nicely. I think this one is a keeper.

Any vintage Kenwood rescued from the dustbin is a good thing!

The Model Eleven II and KL777D speakers are no longer. The receiver went to help out a charity, which got an excellent price for it, and the speakers now belong to my ex-wife.

Patty Griffin's One Big Love is great! Recording is kind of bright, but the song is terrific.

I also very much like Emmylou's version on Red Dirt Girl... but mine seems to be a minority opinion
