I have a Beatles 'No 1' CDs but I like 'Yellow Submarine' so much that I had to order this new sealed (not NOS) record from Amazon UK. Sounds absolutely clean that you can't believe this is a vinyl record. I had a good experience with another Beatles reissue (I know this Songtrack record's a remix rather than a reissue) of 'Shell' logo'd Help record and I'm very happy with this record too. Oh yes this defies the logic but every song sounds heaps better than their CD counterpart.

Yeah, I love Hey Bulldog.

davidro, your post makes me think you don't normally have confidence in LPs sounding good. Do you have many clean LPs? If an LP is new, and if an LP has been taken care of (cleaned before play, played with a good stylus), it should sound good.

Its All too Much is one of my favorites. Great stuff. Great film, even thogh the Beatles only do cameo.

Hey Bulldog is one of their best late period rockers! Turn it up

You misunderstand mate. My playback at home is about 70-80% vinyl! I only mentioned that one because I understand the master has been digitally remastered in 1999. Well if the master is a digital remaster (as opposed to the analogue master) it does defy the scientific reasoning that it should sound better than its CD counterpart. But heck who cares I generally prefer the vinyl version even if the master is a digital one.

Man where did you get that from?? If I knew I could get yellow vinyl I'd have ordered THAT!

I might have to order that, as it's one of two Beatles albums I don't own.

And it's full of great songs :thmbsp:

I really liked 'when I'm 64' lol

i had most of the beatles originals lps but times were hard 30 years ago and i was going out on a date and sold the lot for £15 ...and no she come nowhere near being worth it but still in touch with her

I've done crazier things under the spell of a girl. No worries. Besides, I bet those old LPs had seen better days anyway--you're better off to get nice clean reissues.
