Anti-drink driving slogans

When my brother was working in a bike shop he said - You know how to tell who's just had a DUI conviction? It's the guy that comes in & says I need a bike. Not - I'd like a bike or I always wanted a nice bike - I NEED a bike.

Just to lighten the mood (relative to my other post): Lindsay Lohan will be old enough to drink next month. Here's my new slogan:

You don't want to be like Lindsay Lohan, do you?

At least Ms Lohan seems to remember to don her drawers before she goes out for a night of imbibing & driving...

We had a kid die in an auto accident here last week. Five occupants. Driver was hotdogging and flipped/rolled the car going over a bump in the road by the river. They reportedly expressed wild impulses in their myspace pages, but were sober that night. All five graduated from hi skool on the 19th.

I don't need slogans anymore to tell me not to drive under the influence. I did some stupid things in my 20's and I'm very lucky to live through it unscathed.

I don't drink and drive anymore. It's just not worth it.

Well, it's not for you then, now is it? What kind of slogans would have worked for you back in your 20's?

It's for everyone, regardless of age. I did some stupid things when I was younger.

Don't drink and drive. That should be the only slogan anybody needs.

Why are you breaking my balls?

Cheers Dusty.

Well, no, I didn't mean anything by it, it just seems like it's easy for us teetotalers to say that we don't need a slogan at this point in life (and I agree, we shouldn't...ever...), but what about before? There must be a way to get through to those people who still feel like "they can handle it". I remember when I was younger, I felt like I was pretty much invincible, that I could "handle my liquor". And there's probably a lot of people who feel similarly. I think that's who the slogans are targeted at. That's all I'm saying.
