i love taking long distance solo trips, but when it involves picking up nice gear, it becomes an adventure!

last week, i got a call from a friend saying that there's an old lady who wants to clear her garage and sell some stereo stuffs from the late 50's and early 60's. it's a 5 hour round trip from here, but i have already planned my next week to squeeze this trip in there. from a phone conversation, she was describing a JBL "C" series speaker and some console stuff. maybe C34 or C36.
