Any AK'ers in Ft Lauderdale , Florida

With my brothers passing -he left me his Pioneer 1280 and some big Cerwin Vega speakers..I plan to come down soon and pick them up -is there an AKer in Ft Lauderdale that can help me load these heavy things in my car.

Nope! The storm was canceled due to the lack of interest.

Seriously though, if there is a storm headed that way, careful planning, putting the safety of everyone involved first is the most important consideration.

If you can not figure out something better and you are driving down 75 to get there I may take a ride with you. Mondays and Tuesdays are not good though.

I'm too far north (about 200 miles), otherwise I'd be there in a heartbeat. as I plan on being in my Florida home after the storm passes just to make sure everything is OK.

I have two friends that live there as Snowbirds, so after seeing your post, I called them but both are going to be out of the state until late October. If you still need help then, PM me and I can try them again.

I hope someone here will emerge and help you out.
