These will be thrown away by my uncle, I don't know the model but I know they are Fisher. Are this any good as to salvage? Or, should they just be given to Salvation Army and forget about them. I really don't have a use for them, except in the garage.

Hey,

Either the garage or use for outdoor parties. I'll generally grab such pairs and keep them for friends and family who are in need, and don't care.

Another reason to grab them is the person donating them feels good about giving them to someone who'll care for them as they did. It's because I care!

I agree with using them as garage/outdoor speakers. I got a pair of cheap Kenwood's in homemade boxes that I've kept for outside use. They're okay for what they are, but they don't come close to my main speakers.

Agree with the above comments, could also pull the guts and try some open baffles for a fun experiment.

I bet the mids and tweets are sealed on the back. If not, it seems like a great, cheap OB experiment.
