I think those were Carlson speakers. I don't think they were ever sold complete; it was a magazine project that was rather popular around maybe 1957.

Altec Biflex in Karlson cabs? Not sure how the cabinets can "structurally match" when they appear to be different in height.

So we're not looking at a major score here....but nice speakers :scratch2:
Maybe I'll keep an eye out on them and see if the price drops :smoke:

Not too mention I don't think my gear would mate well with something like this.... so then I'd be searching for tubes.

Ahh, good catch! Those look like they *might* be Altec 420A's in there. One of the Altec experts will have to correct me.

Dave

I'm no expert, but if those are concentric surrounds instead of a whizzer cone, most likely they would be 420A's.

With the cabs, is prolly a reasonable price......:scratch2:

make an offer since the one is painted and the base is missing. maybe if you offer 200 he may take it. it does say 400 or offer.

First off tell the seller they were made to use in a pa system comonly found in bingo halls not really made for music use. LOL

I'm bad what can I say.
