Any Infinity Modulus owners out there?

Hi all,
Picked up a pair of near mint Modulus and wanted input on the following:
1. Optimal set up - Toed in or straight on? How far out into the room away from rear wall?
2. I have mine paired with an SVS 3000 sub. What is the optimal low pass filter setting?

Any other tidbits of advice are appreciated.

I got my pair of Modulus's (Moduli??) several years ago and really enjoy them. They really need good solid stands to play their best. I was lucky enough to find a pair of NIB dedicated Modulus stands. I filled each stand with 20-25 lbs of steel shot.

Set-up wise, Infinity recommends a bit of toe-in. Start with the speakers aimed so they fire just past your ears then toe them in and out to find the balance of sound quality and soundstage/imaging that sounds best to your ears. Try to get the speakers at least 3' off the rear wall.

When they were my main speakers, I used a Genesis G928 servo-subwoofer to great effect. The low-pass setting on your sub is going to be room dependent. The Modulus is down 2 dB at 45 Hz, so I would start with the low pass set at maybe 50 or 60 Hz and then adjust upand down until you get a reasonably flat, continuous response curve. In terms of gain, the goal for me is to fill in the lower octaves that the main speakers are not capable of producing as seamlessly as possible without making the sound too boomy or thumpy (if that's even a word).

80hz according to the data sheet. There's no way a 4.5" acoustic suspension woofer could be flat down to 45hz in that small a cabinet.
 
I was questioning that myself, I'll admit I may have misread the Infinity spec sheet in my haste to find data.

I'll revise my recommendation to start with the low pass filter at 85-90 Hz and adjust from there.
 
I currently have it set to 80. Trying that for a bit.
Regarding the stands, I currently have them on some pretty basic stands that certainly aren’t heavyweight or filled with anything. Can that really make that much of a difference in their performance?
