any info on elite/goodman speakers

hello. picked up this pair this weekend. 2 way bookshelf. elite/goodman, made in england model # ee338 ,quite heavy for their size. the surrounds appear to be rubber. had them playing on my sx750, sounded good.any info would be very helpful. thank you.

That model is not listed in my 97 Orion, but Goodman is an old, and respectable, manufacturer of drivers and speaker systems.

Good brand, and pull some drivers to see if the are ferrite or alnico magnets. Alnicos take much less power to drive and are much more easily blown. It would be a good idea to change out the cap on the tweeters as well.
