Any information about this vintage radio/record player?

Hi, I have this old (probably 1940s) am radio and record player that's been on the family for a VERY long time. It still works fine and all, but I can't find anything about it online, not even a slightly similar radio. Could you guys give me any hint? It's branded "Norton" and no, there's nothing inside that identifies it. This radio sold outside of the us, and I have seen the exact same turntable mechanism up for sale once, so I know there were more than 1 of these made. We might be dealing with a custom build though. Thank you

The tone says "ronette" at the back followed by some weird handwriting, but I bet you're probably right and this is just generic. I was told this arm was replaced multiple times in the past though, so the original one is long gone. Still, thank you for your feedback.

Pretty much the easy way to deal with a dead Astatic crystal stack cart in the original arms then. A turnover version worked well on basic three speed idlers like this.
