Any recommendations for feet Pl-518?

Hey guys still working on getting the pl-518 up and running so thank you for everyone who's helped so far.
It doesn't have any feet so I had 2 questions (as stated in another thread I'm very new to the hobby sp if these questions are ridiculous preface it with that in mind )

1. Could I temporarily use it without any feet? would this cause any damage?
2. What are some cheap options for feet? At least something to have on while I search for more permanant options

Parts Express cabinet feet....they have several sizes...
On my 518, I put the little rubber thingys in your pix, on top of the cabinet feet..and used longer screws.
The feet were about $8.

Make sure you save the feet parts. They are tuned and are supposed to work with the rubber boot that has broken down. Also, IIRC, three springs are the same and one is different.

For around $30 there is a guy on ebay who sells feet that are round rubber pucks with a sorbethene spacer, They may be advertised as sorbethene (sp) feet. There is only the spacer that is of that material, but they seem to work well. I have used two sets.

Pretty sure they come out of Minnesota if you choose the ebay route.

There are some DIY repairs involving RTV silicone. There was also a thread where someone was attempting to have some new boots fabricated, but I don't know if that got off the ground.

You could use just about anything on the corners, but the damping won't be like the original feet.....may not be a big deal depending on environmental placement of the TT.

Depending on area where the feet interface the table, I've been liking the idea of sorbothane or other vibration damping material type feet. Be a nice upgrade from old, tired, broken, reglued rubber feet.

I have just seen the different size domes of the sorbothane, not TT feet made from it like giver mentioned.

I have a PL-516 and got replacement feet from ebay. They weren't cheap (~ $45? ), but works well. If I recall the motor housing on the bottom of the TT will touch the surface without feet so I would get something to prop them up in the meantime.
