I'm hoping a kind owner of this turntable might be willing to lend me their idler cover shown here (or provide very detailed measurements) so that I can have a replica fabricated. I managed to find one of these turntables but mine is missing that piece, and I have to think that my chances of finding one are almost nada as the turntable itself is super rare
Also, if you've got one of these decks, please post a picture of it! I am restoring mine to use with Rek-O-Kut's M5 "Master-Pro" cutting overhead, which was made to go with this turntable (this was marketed as a "recording turntable"). I understand that these (or a Presto 6N) were in just about every radio station in the 40's-50's to record broadcasts before the advent of tape.
