any thoughts on cambridge soundworks m60 or m80 speakers

I'm looking for a set of bookshelf speakers with an 8" driver and these were recommended to me but after doing my research people are saying the m6s are the better speaker w/ better bass what are your thoughts ? I will take any recommendation for a bookshelf speaker with good bass for 1000.00 or less.
