Uhhhh....
I recently purchased a Pioneer PL-71 from a local pawn shop. I payed $25 (marked down from $100) because the speed wouldn't hold steady. I used contact cleaner on the trim pots and that helped, but the problem is with the speed selector micro switches. I ordered some new ones (Omron VX-5-1A2), and they will be here this week. The thing is I'm bad at soldering, and I'd hate to ruin anything. I also know it could use a recap and re-lubrication of the queue arm and motor shaft, things I have no experience with.
I have searched online for repair shops or repair persons in the Phoenix area and have come up with a few. If any AK'ers in or around the Arizona area could recommend one it would be appreciated. I wouldn't mind sending it to SoCal or Las Vegas, just as long as shipping isn't too high. I know shipping will cost quite a bit since it weights 20 some-odd pounds and I'll have to overpack it, knowing how careful the various delivery services can be.
Thanks in advance!
