In very nice shape, could grab em for 50 bucks. Just wanna know if anybodys listened to them as I don't want to buy anything thats gonna disappoint me in the sound department. They are 4 way liquid cooled speakers.

Thanks,
Jack

Rack system speakers, and pretty cheap ones at that. I wouldn't take them for free. Sherwood speakers in general are nothing special.

Liquid cooled usually means not worth much.
Same for "Digital Ready" and almost (there are exceptions) any speaker with a response graph on the front baffle.

Sherwood's speakers from the 60s are quite good. AKer Mark Hardy gave me a pair of Ravinias or Tanglewoods, and I liked them a lot - deep bass. They were pretty big and very heavy, though. In the 70s they had a line called Evolution designed by Chuch McShane which were more modern in appearance and design, but the company was sold before they made many, and that was the end of that. Later Sherwood designs are essentially commodity products - they may be fine, but they don't have much value.
