Anybody following SuperHeavy?

If you're not following, give their single "Miracle Worker" a listen here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MTF7T1Nw5OU. SuperHeavy blends musicians from all different backgrounds, and I think they do a fine job of making an exciting sounding fusion of it all. Mick Jagger still sounds good, and I really like Joss Stone's voice, never heard her before. She's easy on the eyes too, if you watch the video.

The album releases in September, I think I'll grab it. Different sounding stuff, quite a departure from what I usually spin.

In some ways I like that, in some ways I don't. I could do without all the screwing around with dynamic levels in the intro, for example; it adds nothing really musical to the overall effect, other than perhaps to keep the interest of people with millisecond-long attention spans.

Joss Stone has slimmed down and "prettied up" a bit since she first burst onto the music scene! Very talented girl (in various ways ).

Mick will always be Mick. He and Keith have moved beyond normal concepts of longevity. :yes:

I don't even know if that first minute or so will make it on the album, I think it's more for the video.

I think the tune is promising enough that I'll check out the album. Never been much of a reggae fan myself, but I sorta like what it adds to this tune.
