Anybody identify these vintage JBLs?

I would have camped out overnight for a shot at those. I have never seen anything quite like them. Outstanding find! Congrats. What happened to the Dynaco/Mc gear?
 
Would suggest running them without the vaned grilles over them as they probably are too directional - although the JBL acoustic lenses sorta function on the same principal, although in the horizontal plane. Anyway, I think they were trying to recreate a sort of Minigon look.
