Anybody see Jupiter and Venus close together last night 3-1-23 ?

Just saw it tonight; crystal clear skies.

From San Diego, Venus & Jupiter pretty close together, but not touching

Luckily, it was clear here in Tallahassee and I got to point it out to my wife. She said, "Watch the road." Sheesh. No, she liked it. It was pretty cool. We saw them early enough they were all by themselves in the sky.

I saw it and paused. Hey, wtf is that? I asked a buddy.

I guessed Venus, but didn't realize the other thing was that big ol' unlit star, Jupiter.

Saw it around 1930L here in eastern Colorado. Thought it was 2 helicopters in the distance, they were that bright. Hour later they were hidden by Pikes Peak.

Been watching them the last week or so; too cloudy here some nights. Never really got a good night to get out of the light pollution and find last month’s comet, either.

Saw it both Thursday and Friday evening over here. And I also first thought, it might be a heli - or maybe a big crane somewhere up in Obersendling (while my place is down in the Brudermühlviertel). But after opening the admittedly rather dirty window I couldn't hear any rotor noise, nor could I spot any structure near the two lights, so these had to something else. Then I first tried to use Skyviewcafe, but that won't work anymore with the outdated Firefox version on my old notebook - so my next try was to google for "Abendstern März 2023", and voilà...

Saw them about 2 hours ago EST. Was walking to the nearby convenience store and noticed two relatively luminous objects "flying" quite near each other, they were very visible above the western horizon despite the moon shining above and the intense light pollution we have here so I was sure at first they were planes flying in to land as it appeared they were following each other but at different altitudes. Didn't think much of it. It's only when I came out of the store and noticed they hadn't moved that I was reminded of this thread title I had seen here on AK yesterday and thought "that's gotta be what it was about"

Maybe. I saw two bright objects (celestial bodies?) low in the WSW sky just before sundown. Wondered what they were..
