Anyone else getting the Social Security phone scam?

Just got the call yesterday. Of course I didn't even answer the call because I didn't recognize the number. Our local news station already highlighted this scam. Used to be IRS. Now it's Social Security. LOL. They even went so far today as calling back on a different number to say that my Social Security number had been suspended, which is impossible. Lame criminals are lame....

Same here. Hit the cell number twice with the same computer generated female voice.
 
Oh, yeah-The Indian-aren't they ALL- & I DON'T mean Cherokees, neither-anyhow Sahib told me my Soash Securidee number was involved in 6 scams, & the "Polices" were on their way to load my Ass Up, & haul me to the Calaboose.... No real reading of my Desperate Crimes, no trial, no nothin', they were On Their Way RIGHT then to take care of me... Sometimes, you just gotta laugh at these dickheads.. STILL wanna Terminate ALL of 'em... With... Extreme Prejudice... Mbwahahahahahaha..
 
My wife got a message on her cell phone from the "Department of Social Security Services" warning her of the same. She just laughed.

That's when you shout into the phone " I'M NOT GOING BACK! THEY'LL NEVER TAKE ME ALIVE! BETTER BRING PLENTY OF BODY BAGS IF YOU'VE GOT THE GUTS! " then hang up.
 
Sure do wish there was SOME way to Eff these jerkovs up...Truly & well... I mean where they couldn't bother us again, and/or be WAY too scared to even try..
 
I get these and another scam. A debt collector (several different ones) are calling me with a PERSONAL BUSINESS MATTER :-) What a BS. Either they want to collect debt, than it would be a business matter or they wanna sell me their rental share, than it's a personal matter but not both.

I have a collection agency who keeps dunning me over a hospital bill. When I received my settlement from the hit and run, they took half of my settlement. The lawyer told me that was all they could get legally, but they would probably harass me to death. This particular hospital went out of business/merged with another hospital. There's no way I owe what they keep saying I owe. I left them a very stern voicemail and told them I wasn't paying them, they had legally taken what they could take, and furthermore they were simply a collection agency who had probably bought the debt for pennies on the dollar, so I wasn't about to pay them, and I don't owe what they say I do. They sent me a letter a month or two ago with what I "owe." I marked it out, put $0.00 on it, and sent it back with a note saying I don't deal with collection agencies. It's still on my credit report saying I owe, but they have stopped harassing me finally.
 
The social security scammer dicks havent got to me yet but i get hella calls from " The Warranty Dept " telling me my car warranty is about to expire,i also get flooded with " This is your FINAL notice" **** claiming i owe student loans,id bash one of those scammers in the head with a rock if i could reach through the phone.
 
...An' I'VE caught Hell from people about my only HALF serious rantings about paying 'em a decidedly UNFRIENDLY little visit w/a B-52 & about 70K LBS of Mark V1 Nukes... YOU get 8-10 calls EVERY weekday from 'em, & see if YOU don't go a little Nutz... ****, I barely get one cussed out royally til I get another one. ALL of 'em are "Spoofed", you can't tell if its a LEGIT call, or from them. A good 3/4 of 'em are from disconnected phones-Hell-Oh, Fuzzy, I've called MYSELF from Ol' Indio a time or 2.. And they always start-Hello, this is Julie from Cardmember Services. We've noticed Your EXCELLENT paymenr history, & Congratulations ! You qualify for a ZERO percent interest rate on your Visa, MasterCard, Discovery, or American Express... BUTTER wouldn't melt in that Harpy's mouth... She drones on a little further & the phone goes BWERP ! & then Mr Indian comes on, & I open up BOTH barrels on his scrawny curry suckin' Butt...
 
Social Security or IRS will never call you on the phone. They send you a letter with contact information. DO NOT CALL CONTACT NUMBER, call them at their general number and ask if this is legit,they will know if it's a scam.
 
Oh, between the mispronounced words, the cheap-**** accent, the 5011 of 'em I've ALREADY gotten, I know damn good & well, they're nowhere near "Legit"... They must think that everybody in Tennessee is (1-Rich as Rockefeller, & (2 Dumber than Hell. VIRTUALLY everybody I know has had the Shyte pestered outta themselves by these Jerkovs.
 
Both the wife and I got the call recently, as others have mentioned both the IRS and Social Securtiy will only contact you by mail. The problem is some poor sap will get picked off by these scammers.
 
As the cell phone manager of the Hospital I work at I get users calling me all the time complaining about getting these things. (Not to mention the number of times they hit me as well.) I tell them 3 things, 1, its not worth it to there well being to keep listing, just hang up the moment they realize this is a computer or someone they don't need to talk to, 2, If the call is the same area code and exchange (digits 4-7, 1st 3 after the area code) it is likely to be a scammer and 3, install an app called Blacklist. It won't stop them but used properly you will only receive one call from each number they preset to your phone. Takes a bit of time to build up the blacklisted numbers, but eventually the calls diminish to a trickle.

I've been called by idiots thinking calling about college debt, or vacation arrangements or whatever. They are calling to a Gov't owned phone, so I've been answering "Government phone" and then tell them I have their # and REAL metadata and it NOT being gov't business is a felony. I usually hear a click right after.
 
I dunno-Sometimes I like to see how much of THEIR time I can waste, & eff w/'em as long as I can. The Jerky Boys have a character called "Kissel" who apparently has a moderate amount of Dain Bramage, is about half deaf, & I will steal his routine sometimes to Mess w/the scammers. Kept one on for a good 10 minutes once. Figure if they're on w/me, they AIN'T stealing poor ol' Maw & Paw's meagre fortune... I had one girl almost talked into some truly disgusting-And likely physically impossible-sex acts once... Then she realized I was scamming HER, & boy, did I get an Earful...Mwbahahahahaha...
