Anyone encountered this with a PL-L800 before?

I have a PL-L800 that works well other than the cuing is like molasses. It takes forever for the arm to lift and set down all the way. Not only that, it takes forever after you hit the arm elevation button to even begin to lift. The motor seems free, as does all the elaborate gearing the motor drives to raise the arm. I even replaced all the capacitors on all boards just to see if that would help, but it made no difference. I would suspect the motor is not getting the full voltage to it, but I don't have quite the knowledge of circuitry to know where to look, plus with the unit taken apart, it's hard to make the turntable work in order to measure the voltage going to the motor. Any Ideas out there about what it could be? I have worked on a couple of these, but never ran into this problem before.

Okay, I answered my own question, in case anyone else encounters this problem. The cueing motor has very little torque and the old lubrication had gotten sticky enough it was overtaxing the motor. You could move the motor gear easily by hand, but when it is rotating very fast it doesn't have the power to over come the resistance. You have to take the gearbox out of the unit and remove the motor, then some CRC Pro Strength Degreaser (safe for plastic gears) and a very small brush with clean out all the old grease. If you must re-grease with white lithium grease, use very tiny amounts otherwise you'll create enough resistance to slow the motor down again.
