Anyone ever try psychedelic or other visuals during listening?

I enjoy music more than most (like most here), I enjoy it alone, with nothing but music to focus on.... by a fire with group, with a fireplace going in my room, at times with sports on mute to follow the local teams....even the 24 news scroll.
So I tried searching YouTube for unique videos to play muted to chill out to during music enjoyment. I found a few great videos I am sure were made for tripping lol but I found this really relaxing in a darkened room on my projector, even on my plasma upstairs the are really relaxing.
This is one of my favorites, its so random and often the music syncs up in a cool way. See what ya think, throw on some tunes, mute your video and check it out. I've been enjoy these for almost a year now, not daily but its a occasional treat and I find it pretty relaxing.

Had some peyote shroom way back in college ,
psychedelic visuals and other visuals were outstanding with or without music ain't seen anything it like since !

sure, I'm a fun-guy :)

nothing, i mean NOTHING is better with fungi, than a little Napalm death, the visuals/sudden color changes which manifest during the blast beats,m are truly something you have to see to believe. The loud music, actually interacts with your brain, making almost a 3-D visual panoramic effect from your own eyes.
see, just typing that I'm having a flashback. no....really ! its great!

works with kreator, or brutal truth, venom, anything would be copal. Orbital has some fantastic visual stuff. even a stopped clock, gives the right time, twice a day..(repeat 300 times with a loop of left and right side. screw it, to hard to explain. just enjoy the music ;)

I once went to the Pink Floyd laser light show at the Planetarium in Golden Gate Park. THAT........... was jammin'!

I've done sober and less than sober, we even did a mushroom audio club meeting before. Super fun, not everyone's cup of tea though lol. Certainly not anything I do often but man oh man it was great.

Lets see when I was in junor high and high school, we would wach cartoons with sound off and listen to tunes.

You would be amazed how they interact.....not saying I was stoned or anything:no::D

Yes, I am old...:D

Back in the day I had one of the Atari Video Music Machines. See the picture below. The ad was much cooler than the actual operation of the device, which was connected to your color television.

There was also the ubiquitous, ever present, omnipresent, oh did I say there were a lot of them, one, two, three and more channel color organs (each channel responding to a certain band of audio frequencies that controlled lights of different colors. They could be rather pleasing or not depending on one's taste in such things.

Woops sorry, went to the doctor to day and have some new meds and I...Oh what was it now...I can not seem to remember. Oh I know, the picture.:D:D

P.S. when we did our Enhanced Ears N Beers we used a digital tracking force scale to measure even dosages or coffee ground shroomery for everyone lol.
Good times.........

Being a Deadhead, one of the things you must come to terms with is "does the band play the music or does the music play the band"?

There are many documentaries on Micro-dosing available now. Big corporate heads micro-dosing to keep that edge.

Does it clear the head and reset the brain?

I am not sure I ever needed to look for "tripping music".

Each individual will have his/her own opinion.

The Dead never did it for me, I think if I I tried tripping to them I would feel like I got sucked into a never ending sound check.

I have tripped many a time, especially back in the 80s. 'shrooms, blotter, windowpane, liquid on sugar cubes, green monster you name it, I ate it. Seens the Dead over a 100 times and it was always A Long Strange Trip indeed

If I may be so bold, I've produced a boatload of videos worthy of viewing in all states of the mind. Click here to get to my catalog page. No streaming, you get to download the file and view it whenever and where ever you desire. Be warned, most files are 1.2G in size. If you've got the data allowance and download speed, go for it. Higher catalog numbers are more complex videos, while lower numbers are simpler.

If that website is too confusing, I can post direct links to a bunch of videos.

Atari, Color TV... your not old, your just a youngster.

When I was talking aboult cartoons and music there was no cable or MTV.

We had to make our own music vids, Led Zep went well with road runner, CCR and popeye, Pink Floyd and Bugs Bunny...:smoke:
