Anyone familiar with a Sanyo TP 1000?

Hello everyone, I just purchased a Sanyo TP 1000 for parts at a reasonable price and was wondering if anyone is familiar with this turntable? I mostly bought it for the Acos Lustre GST 1 tonearm but have been trying to find more information. It appears that it was a very high end turntable during the early 1970s, but thats all I can find in addition to vinylengine. Any information or insight is appreciated.

Definitely the finest turntable ever sold in the USA to bear the Sanyo name. And built in Japan by CEC, who made superb turntables for many a better known name brand. This is CEC at their finest hour in the DD department. I service and love CEC's best turntables, and many of their middle and lower end models.

I should be getting it in the mail later this week. I'll post my progress as I service it and hopefully get it fully operational again.

Edit: It is fitted with a ST-26D stylus, anyone familiar with the cartridge that it would go to?
