Anyone Have Experience with PSB Image T5 Towers?

Some of you may already know that PSB's Image line has been discontinued. Seems like the T6 towers are already sold out, but there is still a smattering of T5 towers here and there.

Does anyone have any experience with the Image T5s? I'm contemplating pulling the trigger, but since I already have a pair of Focal Chorus 826Vs and an older pair of Def Tech BP-2000s, the T5s may not really bring anything to the table.

I haven't found any pro reviews for the T5s, but there are a few for the T6 model. A few of them claim the T6 is perhaps a little too stout in the bass. I don't think that's going to be a problem with the T5's dual 5.25" midranges in a 2.5 way setup.

I realize I can buy them and try them at home for a couple of weeks and ship them back if I don't like them, but I'd rather not go through the hassle if they aren't going to bring something valuable to the table over the Focals (jazz, classical) and Def Techs (rock).

I've only heard them in-store and that was quite some time ago. If you already have the Focals and DF, I would probably pass on he PSB unless they are causing you sleepless nights.

The PSBs are excellent speakers, but the Focals are easily several steps up, in quite a few ways. Better sound, better design, built like a tank, etc. I'd pass on the PSBs.
