Anyone heard of PM EL34 super tubes with getter in bottom? Cursory google check shows that Peter Watson of UK and his company PM makes these tubes and popular in Guitar amps. If so, how do they fare in Hifi amp application.

At $60 each, they'd best be freakin' fantastic ... ;-}

Can't imagine getter location would make any difference sonically, but some tubes are just built better than others.

Just another re-brander of modern manufacture tubes. Lot's of unsubstantiated :blah::blah::blah: and an idiotic price tag to try to lend credibility.
 
One reseller says they are made in China, so most likely Shuguang. I don't see any with getter on the bottom. The ones I was looking at were $60/pr, not each.

Well, according to the local tube guy guitar amp tubes are rated by the distortion they put out, more is sometimes better. He says it's a good way to sell lousy tubes. Kind of a grouchy old guy. Guitar players are a different breed. But I do like the clear glass on the upper part of the tubes, look great in an open amp chassis.
