Anyone into t00l?

I had to pull out my double lp of lateralus and give it a listen tonight. I just bought Guitar Hero World Tour and they have a couple of their songs you can play. What a blast.

They kind of remind me of Enya in a way. Enya on steroids if you will.

Tool reminds you of Enya? Whatever floats it, man. :D

I like Tool and have all of their albums. Well, I don't have Opiate. Wasn't that an EP or something? 10,000 Days is very good. I sure hope Maynard & Co don't wait too much longer for a new album. Keep it coming fellas.

Cheers

Actually lateralus is the only album of theirs I have. I just started getting into their music a little over a year ago.

I love most of their stuff. I just haven't gotten around to buying any of their albums except the one I mentioned. I think it's time to get in gear.

I did some searching and it looks like there are a few tribute albums that sound pretty decent. A gothic acoustic tribute to tool, the piano tribute to tool and even ROCKABYE BABY! LULLABY RENDITIONS OF TOOL for putting your baby's to sleep. I need to buy a few of the originals first though.

I have tried like hell to get into this band, principally through the albums Ænema and Lateralus, both of which I have on vinyl. It ain't happening for me yet, man. Don't know that it will.

DB, go get Opiate. its the hardest album theyn have with the most feeling.
Denny, There is one of those chamber music[strings] cd'sw I reaaly liked.

I'll just add this, I think I like A Perfect Circle, more.

My sis loves tool. Every time she comes over we crank it up on my stereo. I like some of the songs. They are indeed very good!

Love Tool... But haven't listened for a long time. I think there will be a session this weekend.
I used to use AEnima as one of the system tuning albums.

Ditto! Ænima is a great recording and a mesmerizing listen. Grab a beer and turn the lights down for that one!

I'm a fairly new fan but consider myself a big one. I saw them in Montreal for the 10,000 Days tour and that was probably the most trippy concert that I have seen to date.

Danny Carey is a wicked, wicked drummer. I'm glad that I am mature enough to no longer need to have just one "top" drummer because Carey gives Peart a run for the money. They both blow my mind and that's all that I need to know.
