I have what I believe is one of the higher end receivers made by Fischer for Sears.
It has bass, midrange, and treble controls, low & high filters, loudness, and more.

It is in EXCELLENT condition!
Anyone know for sure any specs on it? Year made?

Greetings!

Most of the store brand stuff on the higher end was pretty good in the db and THD dept. Basically the majority of these units unless super bottom end met about a 1.0 thd regardless of rms watts. As crude as measurements can be argued? If the stuff didn't sound good it didn't sell.

I have a Pioneer sx-3400 bottom end of the series that actually sounds quite nice and a better mid-22khz audible adjustment for 20 watts per channel than any digital amp. Have already used it for basic bi-amp experiments.

Yours is in that 'era'.. hard part is getting some speakers to match up with the output gain and still sound good. Other thing the tuners.. hit or miss many work very well with antenna's and others are just poor designs.
