Anyone know where I can source an original Quantum 5 woofer?

I recently picked up a pair of Quantum 5's that have (damaged) aftermarket woofers and I have a single 12" paper cone Watkins DVC woofer that I can install in one of them, but I need a second Watkins woofer for the other. I have not had any luck searching the auction site, or on the Internet. Any ideas as to where I can find one?

Other than the "auction site" I've had some success on Reverb.com. Set up saved searches on both sites and be patient and be prepared to pay up. Used Watkins woofers don't come cheap.

There's a pair of clear coned on ebay now, the paper coned Watkins seem to be very rare.

Looks like a pair of 12" paper coned ones just popped up on the auction site, but are too expensive (and I really only need one). The only clear poly coned Infinity 12" woofers I saw listed on that site do not appear to be Watkins DVC woofers.

The pair I mentioned above are not cheap, but they are still listed as OEM Infinity 2.5 woofers.
The last image in each listing shows two voice coil connections.

I did not see those and I check Infinity listings (vintage section, not consumer electronics) several times each day, there is a paper pair just posted today, don't know if it's the same ones you saw. Could be and maybe they were in the consumer electronics section previously and that's why I did not see them.
I stick to the vintage section to avoid all the Infinity car speakers and idiots posting INFINITI car items like LED headlights, batteries and fart pipes.

Thanks for the tip. I did a search for "Vintage Electronics - Infinity" and I believe I saw the auction for the single 12" DVC woofer from an RS 2.5, which is not quite the type I am looking for. I did see another listing for two 12" Watkins woofers from a Quantum 4 that appear to be exactly what I need and are about half the asking price of the pair I saw previously.

Sounds like you have options.
FWIW, having spare parts is not a bad idea, and having a spare Watkins woofer would seem to me would be an easy sale if you decide you don't need it down the road.
