No but I do own its near relative the FMj DV139 released about the same year, a lot of the internal parts and electronics (Wolfson WM8740 DAC as opposed to the 8741 in the CD-17) are similar. Arcam always manage to produce rich weighty sounding players that will delight long term listening rather than impress at a dealers, I really love mine.
I swapped my NAD 525BEE for the Arcam and the first I thought was hmm, not what I was expecting. Listen closer though and you can hear all the extra detail and layers I didn't get with the NAD even if it sacrificed a little speed. The thing that impresses you most is the solidity of the sound, width of sound stage and stability of imaging, I only bought this player for SACD playback but its such a good CDP it will be hard to better I'm sure.
