American/Amerite from what they now call their "special" series. I have a 30 foot tower from the same series as well as a 50 foot Rohn 25G.
The problem is going to be that it is so rusty you will need a jack and a bit of luck to get the sections apart if you are going to gin pole it down a section at a time.

Ain't gonna hit it THIS season, but.. Mebbe next year.. The GLORIOUS few days when the Skip/Tropo comes rollin' in,... I've sorta play worked the NE/SW directions here, & I CAN go all the way to Roanoke, VA NNE of here, & down to Marietta, Ga SSW the other way. Gotta ICOM R-7000, a Yammy RX-V1, a Sony CRF-230, & a Panasonic R-5000A, so I gots the Hardware, just needs a "Tenny"...

I was involved in installing a repeater tower that way, maybe early '70s. Somebody knew somebody in the National Guard and voila, chopper. What we didn't plan for was wind.

If there's room for it to swing, the tower in the OP could probably be tipped down at the cost of possibly losing the bottom section, or at least a few inches of it. It's hard to tell if it was installed on a proper base section, so likely something will have to be cut. At only 40 or 50 feet it's probably not worth hiring a climber to gin pole the thing down. But, there are fellas out there that do this kind of work.

Usually straight sections are 10 feet, but they certainly do make other lengths, top sections can vary as do base sections.If the sellers measurements are correct (3 stories tall and in 5 sections) then that would be ~ 5 six foot sections. Hell, the sections would fit easily into Sandy's Mighty Valdez.
To me, it appears to use the type of base that gets buried in concrete as shown in the drawing below. I have also seen installs where they just buried the first couple feet of a standard straight section for a base.
Anybody pursuing something like this should be prepared to cut and grind flush anything protruding from the concrete, as well as have the homeowner fully agree to your well outlined course of action.

Very good information. Thanks 427. I am actually thinking about acquiring this. I have a couple of contractor IOU's that might make it possible.

FWIW, Rust-o-leum makes a hammered finish silver paint that brushes on easily and will make it look better than new with a bit of elbow grease and prep work.

These mountains around here do very "FUNNY" things to FM/TV signals. There are FM stations barely 35 miles away that will fade out completely walking the radio from one side of the room to another.. On the real "Dog Days" of the summer, stations will again fade out to nothing, or be so noisy & full of static they're practically unusable. Makes little/no sense-in the worst part of the winter, sometimes we go thru the same dreary mess, & often THEN, the weather will be bright. shiny, lovely-Just Colder than all get-out We've ALL heard that Weather don't effect/affect FM/TV.... Well, I respectfully beg to differ..
