The Altec Heritage website has old ad brochures that list sizes. I think this issue has come up before, and some of the Stonehenges use the same tweeter as the Five and Seven, but not the Nine and vice versa. (this is right off the top of my head, so don't hold me to the model numbers...)

I think you're spot on. While the tweeters themselves are probably identical, the difference is in fitment. I believe the SH1's tweeter has a diameter of ~ 5 inches, the other variant is ~ 4 inches in diameter.

I have stonehenge II's; I believe the tweets are similar if not the same. Let me know if measuring mine will help you.
Mike

Yes that would be great, the diameter of the faceplate in mm, thickness of the faceplate and lenght from the faceplate to the back of the magnet if possible. Btw how do you find the speakers sound? As being in the uk these things are even rarer to find.

thanks
chris

Actually, bowtie, I'm not spot on -- I got the use of the same tweeter for the Nine right, but none of the Stonehenges used the 33695 of the Three, Five, and Seven. A pity since I have a couple collecting dust.
