Anyone recognize these?

The picture is pretty small, but they look like a vintage Radio Shack speaker.

Mike

Very possible Mike. I added a direct link with a larger picture. Judging by the plastic bin next to them and the gentleman standing in the background, they appear to have some size to them.

Look like 1st Gen Mach Is...

I do believe you and Mike are dead right. Early Mach Ones based on your answer and a little searching. Read were one person believes this was the best speaker ever offered by the Shack. Anyone agree?

Oh criminy, a "best speaker" discussion. Yikes!

Yup, Mach 1's.

Biggles

Radio Shack used to sell AR and KLH in the '60s. Just sayin' :smoke:

I've had the Mach I's and got rid of them. They aren't everyone's cup of tea. I do like the little Minimus 7's with the crossover mods.

IDK, the RS Electrostat 2A was a really nice speaker.
The Mach Is at the time, powered by an STA 2000, were nice, but not extraordinary.
Better caps/crossovers today seem to make them much better than when new.
